Delete your TogetherWeBe account
You can delete your TogetherWeBe account at any time. Deletion cannot be undone, so use Export data first if you want to keep your memories.
1. Delete in the app
- Open TogetherWeBe. If paired, open Me → Privacy → Delete account. If unpaired, tap your avatar on the pairing screen and choose Delete account.
- The app suggests exporting first. Export if you want to keep your memories.
- Sign in again with the same Google account to confirm.
2. No longer have the app?
Email [email protected] from the Google address you used to sign in, explaining that you want to delete your TogetherWeBe account. We will verify the request and help delete it. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes.
3. What is deleted
- Immediately: your name, email, avatar and profile; you are signed out on all devices.
- If paired, the couple ends. Shared server moments, photos, moods, reactions, calendar and Date Jar are deleted within a few minutes.
- Within a few minutes: your sessions, devices, notification tokens and invitations.
- All TogetherWeBe data on the phone you use to delete the account.
4. Date albums
Date albums and server photo links are removed within a few minutes when unpairing or account deletion ends the couple. When unpairing, keeping memories retains album organization and downloaded photos in the former couple’s archive; erasing memories removes them. Account deletion erases album data on the confirming phone. Your partner may keep their local copy. Export first to keep albums; photo files only include copies already saved on your phone.
5. Date Jar
Account deletion ends your couple and removes the shared Date Jar from the server within a few minutes. The jar and drafts on this phone are erased even if your partner keeps photo memories. Export your local ideas first if you want a copy.
6. What remains
- An anonymous record that a deletion request occurred, with no name, email or user ID.
- Technical logs contain no personal content, hold about 2 MB per service at most, are overwritten when full and removed when the service container is recreated. We have no backups.
- Google AdMob may process advertising data independently. Deleting a TogetherWeBe account does not automatically delete that data; see Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Firebase Crashlytics reports are not linked to your account. Google retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems.
- Memories your partner has chosen to keep on their phone. These are on their device and we cannot erase them.
